Context:
In my Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary School class, we were introduced to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics web page. This is a web page that helps teachers in the field of mathematics. It provides lesson plans as well as ideas and concepts for the classroom.
Impact:
The NCTM web page will provide me with help while teaching mathematics. I will use this site as a reference to teaching math in the classroom. Also it will remind me of the principles and standards that we have already learned in our class.
Alignment:
I have already become familiar with the Principles and Standards, among
many other things, due to my research on this web page. Therefore this
artifact aligns with V-A because this artifact shows that I know how to
use technology to find projects and standards for my class.
