Classroom Management

Context
This artifact outlines and illustrates my goals for classroom management, routines, and communication.  It includes a map of my ideal classroom, plans for routines, discipline, and communication, and an explanation of my classroom set-up and management strategies.

Impact
This artifact will benefit me as a teacher because it demonstrates my philosophy of teaching and learning through my management strategies and classroom set-up.  Even though I have not yet had my own classroom, I have thoroughly planned out my classroom management plan in a way that will help me be organized and consistent.  My plan is under construction and may be altered as I see necessary throughout my teaching journey.

Alignment
This aligns with Competencies 12.4 and 12.5 because I described my classroom management routines and procedures, as well as,  a map of my ideal classroom set-up that encourages active student involvement and social interaction. 

It also aligns with INTASC Principle 5 because I created a learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self motivation.
