Artifact # 15
Context
This artifact links to the Appalachian State University Children's
Literature Database. It includes summaries, critics, and reading
level information for a variety of different genres such as Fantasy, Historical
Fiction, Poetry, Informational, Realistic Fiction, Multicultural,
and Picture Books.
Impact
I read many children's books from a variety of genre's during the Fall
of 2002 for my Children's Literature class. I used the Children's
Literature Database to enter information into the database that will be
available to the public for future reference.
Alignment
This artifact aligns with Competency 11.3
because I entered information into the database which is specific to the
education field.
