Artifact # 2
Context
This artifact is a review of four television resources available to
schools. Because of my previous knowledge of these stations, and
after viewing select programs from each channel, I was able to analyze
the target age group for each station and their major focus. The
stations focused on topics such as morals, self-esteem, relationships,
science, current events, and many more.
Impact
This artifact will be helpful when developing a lesson plan for Health,
Science, Social Studies, and other areas of interests. I can utilize
these resources in enhance the lesson and peak the students’ interest in
the subject. Using various forms of media is always a nice change
from the teacher’s voice.
Alignment
This artifact aligns with Competency 10.2
because I reviewed the stations, and analyzed them according to age-appropriateness
and topic focus.
