Power Point Presentation

B. Context
This presentation was created using Microsoft Power Point software.  It was designed  using blank templates for a Power Point Production. I completed this production to present an Author Study of C.S. Lewis to the members of our CI-4000 class during my Block at ASU in the Spring of 2001.  This presentation had several parts including the history of C.S. Lewis, reading activities, visual pictures, a time line, and several resources.

C. Impact
This Power Point production assisted our group in presenting a guided and detailed activity lesson on C.S. Lewis.  This helped the audience of the presentation to better understand the many facets of C.S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia.  By creating this presentation, I became more familiar with both C.S. Lewis and the use of Power Point Presentation Software.  This made me more aware of ways to utilize technology to organize and communicate information to others.  In doing this project, I have learned the usefulness of communicating ideas and concepts to others via media resources.

D. Alignment
This PowerPoint Presentation on C.S. Lewis made me able to creatively do a guided activity and discussion to my class on the learning of C.S. Lewis.  It will encompass these Competencies:

E. Technology
· 11.2 - This medium is used in this artifact to make content easily understood because it not only catches the students' eyes with visual representations, but it allows for discussion and makes connections the subject in question.
