Newsletter
B. Context
This example newsletter was created using Microsoft Publisher.
It was was created during my Media and Technology class during the Spring
of 2001 in my block class. I created this model newsletter to send
home to parents at the beginning of the school year to inform parents and
students of my plans and expectations of each individual child. This
is just one of the many ways I plan to communicate with the parents of
my class.
C. Impact
This model newsletter can be used in a variety of ways to inform parents
about the events and activities for the upcoming semester. The newsletter
format is an easy to express different events and subjects so as to allow
the parent/student/teacher to respond to what is going on in the class
because it is a team effort.
D. Alignment
This newsletter will provide myself with a simple and effective way
to communicate to parents/teachers/students information regarding the upcoming
school year. It will encompass these Competencies:

is allows me to communicate to teachers, students, and parents my expectations
of each and every student in my class.

Standard Ten:
This artifact helps me to foster relationships with school colleagues,
parents, and agencies in the larger community to support students' learning
and well-being. This artifact allows myself to effectively communicate
my intentions to a variety of sources listed above to allow feedback to
the activities that are planned throughout the school year. It also
lets the community know what I plan to do with the students' to further
their learning experiences in and out of the school.
