This is my plan for effectively arranging a classroom to promote learning.  It was designed and done in my Curriculum and Instruction Class in the Spring of 2001.

C. Impact
This classroom design provides a blueprint for a structured use of classroom space, as well as taking into account the students' needs for a productive, accessible, and comfortable learning environment.

D. Alignment
This Classroom design takes into consideration the structure for a well organized classroom environment.  It promotes learning and order that I and the students desire.  It will encompass these Competencies:

E. Technology
· 14.2 - This artifact shows that I am thinking about how to make sure that all kids have equal access to technology in my classroom because in it I designed my own classroom to ensure all students have equal access to different kinds of media throughout my classroom.

F. INTASC
Standard Five:  This artifact demonstrates my understanding of individual and group motivation and behavior to create a learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation.  The Classroom Management artifact helps me to recognize the individual needs as well as the needs of the class as a whole.  The unique learning areas provided for different subjects and abilities of the students.
