Competency 14.2 : Ensuring equal access to media and technology resources for all students.
Context
This was created in the Technology in the Classroom class during the
fall of 2001.
This document is a sign up sheet for usage of the computers in the
computer lab. I word-processed this document using Microsoft Word.
I determined how large I wanted the table to be and inserted into the document.
I then just copied and pasted the table until it filled the paper.
I would place this sheet on the door of the computer lab.
Impact
The sign up sheet would be a food way of making sure every child gets
equal access to the computer facilities. As the teacher, I would
check the sheet daily and regulate each child’s time on the computers.
Alignment
This computer lab sign up sheet aligns with Competency Goal 14.2
. As a future NC public school teacher, I will some students who
want to be on the computer all the time prohibiting other students from
having access to the computers. This sign up sheet will allow me
to monitor the computer usage of each child, and allow me to ensure that
every child gets equal access to the computer facilities.
