Document 1 is a lesson plan for Second grade social studies.
“Businesses in your Neighborhood” fits under the Second grade theme, communities.

Document 2 is a lesson plan from the Learning Network Teaching Channel. . (http://www.teachervision.com ) This math lesson plan can be adapted for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and it covers the topic of graphing.
Document 3 is a lesson plan from Ask ERIC Clearing house. ( http://ericir.syr.edu/ ) This Health lesson plan is on Dental Health and is specifically for First grade.
Impact
The Lesson Plans Page is a PreK-12 teachers resource for lesson plans
of subject area. I will be able to use this to not only get ideas
for lesson plans but also access teacher magazines and receive support
online.
Teacher Vision is a web site that provides lesson plans, classroom
tips, resources, professional development, and a teacher network all-online.
This will provide a variety of resources for questions I may have.
ERIC is a nationwide system of Clearinghouses and support agencies
designed to help educators, librarians, and the general public keep up
to date on education related issues.
Alignment
The printouts of the lesson plans align with Competency Goal 13.4
. As a future NC public school teacher, I may need new ideas on teaching
the same material. With these web sites, I can access their information
and have a plethora of resources or ideas readily available.
