Sign Up Sheet for Computer Lab

Context
I made a sign up sheet for computer usage by going to Microsoft Word.  I made the title by using Word Art, which is under “Insert.”  I then used Clip Art, also under “Insert”, to insert pictures on my sign up sheet for decoration.  I then went to “Table” to make a table for students to sign in.  I chose to do a table with 4 columns and 20 rows.

Impact
I now know that it is important to allow equal access to media and technology resources for all students.  This sign up sheet will allow me to see which students have used the computer lab and for how long.  By making a table, I will be able to keep a record that will allow me to check and see which students have or have not been to the computer lab.

Alignment
Artifact 6- Sign up sheet for computer lab aligns with competency 14.2.  I know that every student should have equal opportunities to explore technology.  A sign up sheet allows for me, the teacher, to keep records of every students trip to the computer lab.
