Artifact Five: Map of Classroom

A. This rationale is a map that I created based on the way that I invision my classroom to be, as long as the resources are available to the school in which I choose.

B. I created this map during my senior year at Appalachian State University, so that I could include it in my telefolio. I used both my needs and wants for my classroom, as well as observations that I have picked up from various classrooms to design the way that I want my room to be. I designed this map of my classroom by using Microsoft Publisher.

C. I plan on using this classroom map to design my room. The plan for this map has been well thought out, and I think that it would work for a classroom of younger children. If for some reason this layout of the room does not work, then it can be easily changed. 

D. This rationale meets Technology Competency II- E because it shows my plans for the layout of my classroom, which I think will allow me to manage my students and their learning in a beneficial way to the children.

It also meets INTASC Principle Seven because it is a plan to organize my students so that they get the most out of their learning
