Competency 14.2 “Ensuring equal access to media and technology resources for all students”
Context
I made a sign up sheet for my students to sign before using the computer lab using Microsoft Word and making a table with five columns, which includes information students must write down before using the lab. I included on the sign up sheet spaces for the students name, date, time they enter the lab, time they leave the lab and the teacher’s name. Students must sign in using this sheet before having access to the computer lab.
Impact
A sign up sheet for the computer lab will be a good way to determine who has used the computer lab and who needs an opportunity in the lab. I want all students to have the experience and chance to use the computer lab and become more familiar with technology.
Alignment
I met competency goal 14.2 because I prepared a sign up sheet for my
students to sign before entering the computer lab. The sign up sheet
serves purpose in making sure all students have an equal chance in using
the computer lab for all technology and media resources.
